Cathedral Downhill Trail || Palm Canyon Mega Epic Extra Credit || Specialized Turbo Levo Expert

We ride Cathedral Trail for the 1st time … a technological, loose, rough, and scenic desert downhill. This area started after 20.6 miles on our absolutely awesome trip (i.e. The “Palm Canyon MegaEpic”). The normal Palm Canyon Epic path is (using Hahn-Wildhorse-Goat Trails to Gene Autry Rd. in Palm Springs) 28 miles-2300′ gain-6000′ loss route. When Palm Canyon is ridden directly to Art Smith, it is regarding 25 miles-1500′ gain-4800′ loss course.

On this special flight we included 2 extra Downhills/Climbs (Hahn as well as Cathedral DH’s/ Dunn Connector and Dunn Road climbs up) into the Palm Springs-Art Smith Route to provide regarding 38 miles-5400′ gain-8400′ loss, thus I’m calling it the “Palm Canyon MegaEpic Route”.

Brandon and I rode this particular day’s route as adheres to: Palm Canyon to Dry Wash to Hahn Buena Vista Trail bottom, then we climbed on Dunn Connector to junction of Dunn Road, dropped down the Cathedral Canyon Trail, and also returned up Dunn Road to Art Smith Trail exit at Hwy 74.
